Yes I know my dress from is a little hideous. I plan to do something about that shortly. She was a garage sale find, and she's perfect for display.

I've Been Busy! Short Sets
I have not done any sewing for myself in a couple of weeks. I have been sewing for everyone else except me. I have a mini vacation coming up next week and wanted to make myself a couple of things, but it does not look like that will happen. Here is my latest work for others:

You have been very busy, nice job sewing for others. I do hope you have time to sew for yourself soon. My dressform is terrible, too, it is duct taped at the top!

ReplyDeleteGreat work! Put a t-shirt on her and hand stitch it closed at the bottom. That's what I do to get rid of the "adjustible opening" on mine. Quick and done!
ReplyDeletemy daughter just helped me make 25 aprons for a friend so my me time is consisiting of cutting down a skirt lol! maybe you could could squeak some sewing in for yourself with the other sewing, I know when you get back to sewing for "you" it'll be fantastic!
