I can't take credit for this. During my daily blog browsing I came across this and I wanted to share because I find this to be so profound. I may not agree with every single point being made, buts with social media being the regulator of all things fashionable and trendy I think we have lost the art of being Ladies. When I say we I don't mean any of you beautiful blogging Diva's that's here in our blogging community. Every day when I am on Facebook or Instagram, I see so many woman that are willing to dress as scantily as possible for their 15 seconds of Internet fame. No more are the days of the prim and proper.

ReplyDeleteAny time Cennetta.
DeleteI enjoyed this post. I agree, women are forgetting how to be a lady. Some have never learned. In the last 10-15 years, being a lady and covering your body has become a negative. SMH
ReplyDeleteYes Robin, so true. Everyone woman wants to be a video vixen, marry a pro athlete and live like a Rock Star anymore. Gone are the values and morals that helps us become great people who want a good life and raise our kids a better environment.
DeleteLove it..
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy.
DeleteLove it....although I may break some rules from time to time. I can be a total potty mouth! LOL.
ReplyDeleteNataha exactly, I am prone to break a few here and there as well.
DeleteYes, these were the ways I was bought up - most people nowadays think that being a lady is being submissive and a walkover, just because you seem nice and polite - it's quite the opposite, of course, it's a highly disciplined form of behaviour that says "I value myself and expect you do to do the same". And avoid those that don't!
ReplyDeleteExactly Sarah I so agree.
DeleteGood stuff!!! Vita
