M6034 view "B". This is what I love about sewing. I need a white blouse for church tomorrow to usher in, but no worries, I sew:
Quick Pattern Review:
Pattern: M6034 (I chose View "B")
Sizing: Various, S-M-L-XL (I cut a large, but could have gone with a medium)
Recommended Fabric: Knit only (I used a silky rayon knit)
Complexity: Very easy from cut to finish.
Changes Made: None at all
Will I redo: As as many as my closet can stand.
Happy creating!
Love that you made it to usher in! Great top and it will be perfect for church tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carolyn, it was, I felt grand in my blouse.
DeleteYaaay, you are sewing again! I knew you wouldnt be long away from your machine. May I say, that top is heavenly.
ReplyDeleteThank Lisa, it felt good too. I feel energized and ready to sew, sew, sew. Again, thanks.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Regina. Hope you had a great weekend.
DeleteLovely top and it looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteThanks you Sheila. Hope you had a great weekend.
DeleteVery lovely! The drape of that blouse is so pretty! I enjoy being able to make things in a hurry too---the benefit of being a sewer!
ReplyDeleteVictoria, I love it. The last couple of events I went too, I made the outfits I wore, and usually the day or the night before. It is a really good feeling of accomplishment when you sew. Thank you.
DeleteThat's what I like about sewing too! Nice job, your blouse looks very simply elegant. - I don't sew white often. I'm scared I'll get smudges on my project. You're twisting my arm, I just might have to go pattern shopping. I did promise myself not to buy anymore and use what I have :) (trust me I have tons of pattern.
ReplyDeleteRenata, I do not do much white either, only because it doesn't hide my little messups like color does. I am sure I don't have as many patterns as you do, but I am slowly but surely collecting them. My goal is to sew twice a week, doesn't mean I will finish an item, just that I must touch my sewing machine twice a week. Let's see how this! Thanks Renata, have a great day.
DeleteYou're Welcome Melanie. I know you will do just fine :) I'm almost finished with my first project of January. I hope to get 3 dresses done by 1.31.13, but I'll be happy with two. I had a nice day with my Sophie (3 1/2)she was insanely happy not to go to the sitter today. Have a great evening and I'll check in often.
DeleteVery pretty blouse and looks so great on you! And making what we need is definitely one of the best things about sewing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Leslie. Sewing what you need = I need pot holders, I think I will make me some pot holders this week. LOL, I love sewing. Have a great day.
