MYSTYLE: McCalls 7722 - Camo Print Sleeve Head Shirt

My now favorite top.  This top was such a quick and easy make.  I love everything about it.  I decided you to use some of this knit camo I found at Walmart a couple of months ago with a nice Ponte Roma Knit.   I knew it would be perfect for a pair of black jeans and boots.  I also paired it with a pair of pumps for a little date night action.

Camoflauge Gathered Skirt and Lace Ruffled Strap Tank

Isn't it ironic, I was in the military for 8 years and I despised wearing fatigues/camouflage.  I had to wear fatigues/camo every single work day.   They were the most hideous uniform for a women especially, and they were heavy and not complimentary to your body.  I know that there is a reason for that, your taught your a soldier first and a women second.

But fast forward, 23 years later I am in love with camouflage.  This gathered skirt made with fabric from Walmart believe it or not is one of my favorites.  I can't wait to make it in a Midi.  I don't really do Maxi's but I absolutely love Midi's.

New Look - A6191 - Camo Palazzo Pants

I cut these pants and sewed them up a few weeks ago before my vacation.  I am just now having an opportunity to complete them.  They fabric is from Joann's, its a cotton with fool backing.  It also has a a gold shimmer that doesn't really show in these pics.  The fit is a little snug, but I like them and they way fit.
